sometimes the simplest of things can make such a beautiful statement.

So you don't think you can decorate?

You say ...maybe.

All you need to do is put together things that you like.  The key word here is "like".

Do you think you can afford to decorate?

Bet you can.

Let's see ...do you own a large bowl?  Do you like to eat apples?  Can you afford to buy a few apples?

There you go!

Simple, easy decorating!  Wasn't that fun?

I used a shiny wire basket filled with lemons here.

You can place these bowls and baskets just about anywhere...on your kitchen counter, on your coffee table, even on your nightstand.  It can add such color and freshness to your rooms.

Then make an apple pie or lemon squares.  Wouldn't that be nice?

Another great example of decorating with things that won't break the bank can be seen here with the use of lilacs and a french fireman's bucket.  It is the perfect combination of beauty added to the beast.
